Vetts and Jets on the Lex 2011

Well it looks like Mavrick is already hard at it...this is his post on the Corvette Forum....

That's right we have been in talks with the USS Lexington about doing this event again. We have sold out every year and hope to do it one more time as we extend the number of Corvettes to 350 on the flight deck. We also plan to make this a 2 day event aboard the Lexington. (Friday meet and greet, Saturday load your Corvette and enjoy the ship along with wonderful patriotic festivities and meet and greet with the Wounded Warrior Project and then on Sunday have an actual car show with awards aboard the USS Lexington.) I have been able to obtain a sponsor who is going to provide some very unique awards for this show, to include the WWP choice, USS Lexington choice, peoples choice and many class awards. We are also working to get an actual concert for Saturday night aboard the USS Lexington(with an actual big name band). We are still shooting for September of 2011 and we continue to get emails from all over the USA. We have raised over $68,000 for our veterans and hopefully this show can put us over the $100,000 mark. None of this is possible with out all of the wonderful support from our Corvette community.
